Seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Technician to work at large Southwest Austin apartment community. Must be EPA certified and able to be on-call. Apartment discount available. Background, drug test and credit check reviewed prior to employment.Complete specific maintenance/housekeeping duties as directed by Lead Maintenance Technician and the Community Manager. To work as part of a team to ensure responsive, efficient, and thorough service to residents and the entire community. Essential Functions: -Perform required tasks in a timely, consistent and reliable manner including but not limited to interior/exterior painting, HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and housekeeping.-Adheres to company policies and procedures. -Works in a safe manner.-Communicates immediately all maintenance/community challenges to the Community manager.-Keeps work area neat and clean at all times, picks up after maintenance work is complete.-Performs other duties as required by management.Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:Ability to speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with others.-Prior experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and painting.-Ability to maintain a positive attitude and treat others with respect.-Ability to complete assigned duties in a timely manner.-Ability to handle after hours emergency calls, and be on call as needed.Please respond to ad with attached resume and applicable certifications OR fax to 512-899-1688.
